Kaitlyn Yarborough.

I’m currently a senior at the University of Georgia majoring in journalism. I ask a lot of questions and find myself an hour-deep into a random Google search way too often. A passion for reporting and an insatiable curiosity have set my path for a career in journalism, and I hope to treat each day as an opportunity to get better at it. 

Most recently, I interned at Business Insider and contributed to the Lists & Rankings team. Not only did I help with large features such as the Silicon Valley 100, but I developed articles featuring original reporting and data analysis.   

Additionally, I’m currently a writer for the Red & Black, an independent student-run publication established in 1893. I contribute to the Culture section of the newspaper, reporting  extensively on issues, events, and happenings in the Athens area.
